Avoid dehydration

Studies show that even a 1% water loss can affect the brain capacity in children causing them to become lethargic and irritable. More over, with the immature heat regulating system in young athletes, it’s difficult to cool down the body easily. Hence, always encourage them to drink water and stay as well hydrated as possible.
